Usage Guide

Use

MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora are potent. For first time users, we suggest starting with less than what’s listed on the bottle – see Precautions below for details.

Both probiotics can be taken together, however we suggest taking them at different times of day. Take with a meal or right afterward. Capsules can be swallowed whole, or opened and mixed into food for partial amounts. Follow the Probiotic Restoration Guide above for the right amount and schedule for you, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

Precautions

MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora are generally well tolerated. For first time users we recommend following the Probiotic Restoration Guide above, starting with smaller amounts, increasing gradually over two to three weeks.

As unhealthy gut bacteria are crowded out, some people notice temporary discomfort like headaches, body aches, fatigue, or loose stools — as those bacteria release toxins when they die off; this is usually a sign the product is working. If it’s uncomfortable, reduce your amount or pause until it clears, then start again slowly per your tolerance.

Note: Taking the toxin binder Mega IgG2000 or GI Detox+ alongside can help absorb these die-off toxins and ease symptoms.

Do not take RestorFlora if: You have a known allergy to yeast.

Formal safety studies haven’t been done on MegaSporeBiotic or RestorFlora for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so as with any new supplement, be sure to check with your healthcare provider.

For children under 5 years of age, consult with your healthcare practitioner before giving RestorFlora.

What should I expect when I start taking this pack?

RestorFlora contains S. boulardii, a beneficial yeast, so it isn’t a good fit if you have a known yeast allergy. MegaSporeBiotic alone doesn’t contain yeast and may be a better option in that case.
