Benefits of the Gut Restoration Pack
C. diff. Toxin Binding
Immunoglobulins bind destructive gut toxins, including C. diff. toxins A and B, helping to neutralize them before they can damage the intestinal lining. IgG also supports G.I. tissue healing and helps maintain normal, healthy bowel function — with published case reports describing its use alongside antibiotic treatment for complicated C. diff colitis.3*
Safe, Targeted Gut Toxin Removal
Unlike clays, charcoal and other binders that indiscriminately bind to a wide range of things, Immunoglobulins only target disease-causing bacterial components and toxins inside the gut.*
Digestive Recovery Support
The S. boulardii species of beneficial yeast in RestorFlora helps reduce the severity and duration of diarrhea associated with antibiotic therapy and difficult gut recovery challenges,5,6 including research showing it may help block the toxin produced by C. diff.2 It also helps reduce intestinal inflammation and fights gut pathogens.*
Helps Rebuild Balance and Crowd Out Harmful Bacteria (Including C. diff)
Clinical research on the Bacillus spore species in MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora has shown reduced gut inflammation, strengthened gut lining and improved gut flora balance. These Bacillus spores also help your gut resist and repel disease-causing bacteria — including a Cleveland Clinic study on recurrent C. diff exposure showing these strains help crowd out C. diff by competing for nutrients.1*
Immune System Support
Research shows Bacillus spores help support immune system function and the body’s natural resistance to bacterial and yeast overgrowth.1*
Reaches your Gut Fully Intact
Unlike most probiotic products which die in your stomach, MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora reach your intestines at full strength.
Compatible with Antibiotic Use
MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora can be taken at the same time as antibiotics without reducing the potency of the probiotics — research has shown these strains remain protective and support healthy immune and gut function during antibiotic exposure.7 Many doctors routinely prescribe probiotics during antibiotic drug therapy to help address the side effects of these drugs. The immunoglobulins in Mega IgG2000 are unaffected by antibiotics or antimicrobial remedies.
MegaSporeBiotic – Gut Balancing and Reconditioning
Because MegaSporeBiotic is made from Bacillus spore-forming probiotic organisms, they reach the digestive tract in full potency. Studies have shown that leading probiotic formulas containing Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria are drastically reduced or completely killed by heat and stomach acids.
MegaSporeBiotic contains five well researched strains of Bacillus probiotics that create favorable conditions to promote the growth of your resident “healthy” bacteria, like Lactobacillus, Akkermansia and Bifidobacteria species. Studies show MegaSporeBiotic supports a healthy gut barrier.*
True probiotics work by reconditioning the gut, meaning they make conditions better for your resident healthy gut microbes to grow and flourish. They promote a diversity of microbes, a key indicator of a healthy gut. Restoring the balance of healthy gut microbes also crowds out disease-causing bacteria.
MegaSporeBiotic has quickly become our top-selling supplement and is used by thousands of healthcare practitioners – it’s a huge favorite among families and healthcare practitioners alike.

Mega IgG2000 – Toxin Binding and Gut Soothing Protection
Immunoglobulin G (IgG), the most abundant antibody in the product, binds to a number of disease-causing bacteria, viruses, and fungi, as well as their toxic by-products. Binding these toxins will neutralize them and allow the immune system to safely remove them from the body.
Immunoglobulin G binds and neutralizes a variety of bacterial toxins, components and byproducts, including C. difficile toxins A and B. This Immunoglobulin also binds toxins from cell wall deficient mycoplasma species (L-forms) that are resistant to most antibiotic drugs*.
Unlike clays, charcoal and other popular binders that indiscriminately bind to a wide range of molecules and toxins, Mega IgG2000 specifically targets disease-causing bacterial components and toxins inside the gut and removes them. By binding and neutralizing microbial gut toxins, it helps support and maintain a healthy gut barrier function*.
Unlike other milk-derived Immunoglobulin products on the market, Mega IgG2000 is made from bovine serum, making it lactose-free, casein-free, and β-lactoglobulin-free.

RestorFlora – Digestive Recovery and Defense
RestorFlora combines four well-studied, widely used probiotic strains: Saccharomyces boulardii, Bacillus subtilis HU58, Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus clausii.
Several clinical studies show that the friendly yeast S. boulardii (also called Sac. b.) supports gut health during antibiotic therapy and difficult digestive recovery periods5. The unique properties of S. boulardii make it a beneficial addition to a probiotic regimen when extra support is needed for difficult gastrointestinal challenges.*
Dual action support is achieved by the addition of B. subtilis HU58 and B. clausii, which help support immune system function and the reduction of GI inflammation. See the Research section below for details on the specific studies behind these ingredients, including research conducted in C. difficile-related contexts.*

How to Use the Gut Restoration Pack
Please Follow Our Usage Guide
The bottle label instructions are for general health and wellness only. Our usage guide offers additional guidance for more significant or persistent gut challenges. Please follow our usage guide, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
Use
MegaSporeBiotic, RestorFlora and Mega IgG2000 are taken together daily, each at a different time of day – see the Probiotic Restoration Guide above for the full schedule, or as directed by your healthcare provider. We suggest starting with Mega IgG2000, then adding RestorFlora, later adding in MegaSporeBiotic. All three are fine to take alongside other probiotics if you choose.
Mega IgG2000: Can be taken with or without food, but in-between meals is best for toxin absorption. Capsules can be swallowed whole or emptied into water and stirred well (the immunoglobulins have a mild taste).
MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora: Potent – for first time users, we suggest starting with less than what’s listed on the bottle (see Precautions below). Take with food or right after a meal. Capsules can be swallowed whole or opened and mixed into food for partial amounts.
Precautions
MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora are potent and generally well tolerated. Many people, especially first time users, find it easier to start with less than the amount listed on the bottle and increase gradually over 2 to 3 weeks — see the Probiotic Restoration Guide above for the schedule.
As unhealthy gut bacteria are crowded out by the probiotics, some people notice temporary discomfort like headaches, body aches, fatigue, or loose stools — as those bacteria release toxins when they die off; this is usually a sign the product is working. If it’s uncomfortable, reduce your amount or pause until it clears, then start again slowly per your tolerance. Taking Mega IgG2000 alongside can help absorb these die-off toxins and ease symptoms.
Do not take:

  • RestorFlora if you have a known allergy to yeast (like Saccharomyces cerevisiae).
  • Mega IgG2000 if you have a beef allergy
Formal safety studies have not been done on these products for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so as with any new supplement, be sure to consult with your healthcare provider.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this help with diarrhea after antibiotics or a C. diff diagnosis?
Yes — this is one of the main things this pack is designed to support. RestorFlora contains S. boulardii, which research shows can help reduce the frequency, duration, and severity of diarrhea that often follows antibiotic therapy. Many of our customers start this pack specifically after a C. diff diagnosis or a difficult round of antibiotics, and it’s the pack we most often recommend as a starting point for that kind of recovery.*
Is this pack safe to take alongside antibiotics or other prescription medications?
These products are formulated to be taken during antibiotic therapy. That said, since everyone’s health situation is different — especially if you’re managing other prescription medications — we recommend checking with your doctor or pharmacist before starting any new supplement.
What if I have a beef allergy?
Mega IgG2000 is derived from bovine (cow) serum, so it isn’t a good fit if you have a beef allergy. G.I. Detox+ is a good alternative in that case.
Do these products need to be refrigerated, and what’s the shelf life?
No refrigeration needed. MegaSporeBiotic, RestorFlora and Mega IgG2000 are shelf-stable for years unopened, so they’re easy to store and take with you if you travel.
Should I take all three products together, and is there a recommended order?
For most people, especially first-time users, we suggest starting with Mega IgG2000 alone for a few days, then adding RestorFlora, followed by MegaSporeBiotic — introducing each one gradually rather than all at once. This staggered start helps your body adjust more comfortably. Once you’re used to all three, they’re taken daily, each at a different time of day. Full timing and dosing details are in our Usage Guide above.*

About Microbiome Labs

Microbiome Labs was founded by microbiologist Kiran Krishnan and Dr. Tom Bayne, driven by a simple frustration: too many supplements make claims with little research behind them. That mission led to the discovery of spore-based Bacillus strains stable enough to survive digestion — the foundation of MegaSporeBiotic. The company has since pioneered spore-based probiotics and, with the backing of Novonesis, a global biotech leader, continues to invest heavily in clinical research to support its formulas. It’s why we’ve trusted and recommended their products since 2017.

Research Behind This Pack
The ingredients in this pack have been studied individually and in combination for gut health, immune support, and recovery from antibiotic use — including research involving C. difficile recovery specifically.
A study conducted by researchers at Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Inflammation and Immunity looked at mice with a recurring C. difficile colon infection. Mice given the same five spore-forming Bacillus strains found in MegaSporeBiotic showed less gut inflammation, stronger immune activity, and a sturdier gut lining, compared to mice that didn’t receive the probiotic strains. The probiotic-fed mice also had healthier iron levels — notable because C. diff relies on iron to grow, suggesting these strains may help crowd it out by competing for the same resources it needs to thrive.1
Research on Saccharomyces boulardii (found in RestorFlora) shows it can help support recovery from antibiotic-associated diarrhea and C. difficile-associated diarrhea,5, 6 including laboratory research showing it can bind and inhibit toxin A, the toxin C. difficile produces that damages the intestinal lining.2
Serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (found in Mega IgG2000) has been studied in case reports and clinical research involving C. difficile infection, including cases where it was used alongside antibiotic treatment3. Laboratory research has also shown it can bind pro-inflammatory bacterial compounds before they trigger an immune reaction in the gut.4
A study found that the same Bacillus strains in MegaSporeBiotic and RestorFlora helped support healthy immune function and normal gut flora in mice during antibiotic exposure.7
These statements describe published research on these ingredients. They are not claims that this product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease.
